Lexington Kids Camp
This Kid's Camp is a 4 day class in which the goal is to complete a project each day. Because of the variance of skills we are expecting, this is not a
guarantee. Projects may be changed or adapted to meet particular skills.
Projects include:
- Lined Draw String Backpack
- Pillow Case
- Penny The Fish
- Throw Pillow Cover
Each student will choose their own fabric for each project at Thomas Sewing Center prior to the class. Snacks & bottled water will be provided, and we will break for lunch. Please pack a light lunch, we will break from 12-12:30 each day for lunch & discussion of the project.

| Skill Details: | Child must know the way around a sewing machine: presser foot, needle, feed dogs, thread, bobbin, foot pedal, and have had at least minimal practice sewing straight stitching (even on scraps) on a sewing machine. |
| Materials Included: | Sewing machines & fabric for each project are provided. |
| Requirements: | Each participant must choose fabric for their projects at Thomas Sewing Center no later than June 23rd, 2023. This is to ensure each kit is cut before class starts Tuesday. Please bring a 16" pillow form to class the first day. These can be purchased at Joann Fabrics. |
