Blocks in History Club December - Lexington
Quilting has had a long, storied history. From the Revolutionary War, to the Civil Rights, quilters have created blocks to memorialize events in history. This class is for history buffs who also want to quilt!
Learn how about an historic quilt block, the different color variations and layouts and even make one in the class!
Each class makes a single block, the fabric is included in the class. By taking multiple months, you can make enough blocks for a table runner or even a throw sized quilt!
Suitable for confident beginners. If you have a sewing machine, you must bring it with you to club. If you do not have a sewing machine and would like to attend, please call the Lexington store at (859) 286-5192 or email alysson@thomassewingcenter.com to inquire about using a store machine at an additional fee. Store machines are limited and not available unless previously arranged, so please call as soon as you are able.
