Serger Project Bag Class - LEXINGTON
Keeping project supplies together is easy when they can be carried to class in this versatile Clear View Zippered Bag. Learn to insert a zipper using 12wt thread and the Wave Flatlock stitch. Optional techniques include Flatlock seaming, cover and chain stitching. The finished bag will be 12.5 x 13.5.
Materials needed
1 fat quarter cut to 14” x 15”
1 fat quarter cut to 14” x 15”
15” x 14” piece of Decor bond interfacing (fuse to the fabric before class)
18” zipper
18” x 13” piece of clear vinyl (12-16 gauge)
12 wt decorative thread - 2 spools for Flatlock Wave version, 1 spool for regular 2-thread Flatlock version
4 spools of regular serger thread that coordinates with fabric
Rotary cutter and ruler
Serger with piping foot or cording foot
