One Block Wonder - LEXINGTON

One fabric, one shape, one-of-a-kind quilt! No two will be alike. This quilt is extremely fun to make and tests your creativity. You will find yourself searching the finished blocks to match where they came from originally. The pictured quilt is 72” x 80” but may vary depending on chosen fabric.

Supplies needed:
  • 7 matching fabric panels if doing the pictured quilt. OR 4 1/2 - 5 yds of a large (24” repeat) printed fabric with high contrast in colors. (Fabric should be cut continuous from the same bolt) Do not prewash fabric.
  • Rotary cutter with new blade as one will be cutting six layers of fabric at one time
  • 60° triangle ruler ( I prefer the one that has the corners cut off) Otherwise most rulers have a 60° line that can be used.
  • 36 1/2” long ruler or the longest straight one you have.
  • Flat flower quilt pins
  • Sewing machine with 1/4” foot - be sure to bring to all three classes
  • Neutral thread (I prefer long staple 50/2  cotton thread)

A minimum of 3 students is required for this class.
