Scrap Buster Quilt As You Go Patriotic Placemat - Lexington
This class utilizes basic sewing and quilting techniques to make the placemat. NO Quilting experience necessary. I will show you how to do everything including the binding. All you will need to do is sign up, bring your machine and Nancy will teach you basic Quilt As You Go (QAYG) and quilting techniques.
The placemat is made completely of fabric scraps, a leftover piece of quilt batting and 1 fat quarter for the backing. Grab your scrap bin and pull out some of your scrap strips or pieces (many of the strips are pieced together). Or you can pick something cute from the store, either online for curbside pickup or for shipping.
Order patriotic fabric from the store here: https://www.thomassewingcenter.com/shop/Fabric/Browse-Via-CollectionDesigner/Riley-Blake/Fireworks-and-Freedom.htm
